Day12: your proudest accomplishment
My proudest accomplishment.. Hmmm. I can think of some.. But one would be finishing college.. Getting a degree and passing the board exam and being a licensed Nurse.
Though i may not have fully practiced my profession to it's fullest extent.. I am quite proud that i was able to finish and fulfill my parents dream of giving their child a good education. Studying aint easy and finishing it is a different story. Getting a job and helping your family is a different thing as well. We just have to take things one step at a time.

Day 11: My most embarassing/funniest date EVER!
We had the date in an amusement park in the city. After a couple of rides, we just roamed around and talked some more. He started to hold my hand, butterflies in my stomach set in. The night was starting to become magical.
Alas! We passed by the dreaded Attraction. The one ive sworn myself that i wont go back again. He asked me if i wanna go in and try the Haunted House. Cold air suddenly whispered in my ears. Part of me wanted to say "Hell No!".. But then after a nano second of thinking, i gave in. I mustered all my strength. He knows how afraid i was. He felt it. He held my hand tighter as we entered the creepy Haunted house.
Yep, im a coward. I hate being surprised by scary looking masks. I hate those fake ghosts, coffins and bats that came with the eeky ambiance of the haunted house. I hate those people who chase u for 3 second just so u can scream your heart and lungs out of fright.
So we managed to finish the whole course of the haunted house. My 7minute walk of dreaded scary feeling. All the while he was holding my hand. But he let go while we were about to exit the door. Then the unexpected happened.
Coming from all the screaming and of course,my adrenaline was still high.. He took the chance. He surprised me. I screamed. The loudest that i did compared to those i did when we were inside. And the most embarassing part was i fell on my butt coz i was too surprised. I tripped on the linen that was covering the floor. I covered my face out of fright and humiliation. I cant imagine that the night would end like that.
But then he helped me up, hugged me and said sorry. Yes, he was laughing. He made up for the prank he did by having a late night hang out at McDonalds over a cip of sundae and a tray full of french fries.

#TheSW30 Day 07: Where You Are in Your Life vs. Where You Thought You Would Be
Day 07: Where You Are in Your Life vs. Where You Thought You Would Be
I'm nearing the point in my life in which they call the "quarter life crisis" sets in. Nearing the age of 25, I recall that I once envisioned my self to be still studying by this time and nearing the completion and fulfilling of my dream to become a doctor of medicine. But life has an amazing way of surprising us by letting things happen especially those which were unplanned. Here I am, 25 years old, working overseas, way different than what i envisioned it to be, but pretty blessed that I am able to help my family, getting by and growing in my faith to our Lord Almighty and single.

The Single Woman’s 30-Day Blogging Challenge! Day 1, 2, and 3 COMBO
Dubai Memoirs Part 01: Meet up with fellow Red Cross friends and Burj Al Arab
I once again failed for keeping my blog up to date.
My parents were here for a one week vacation last August and we got busy transferring our stuff to our new place. Hariraya already passed by and i've got a lot of updates to do. Though I'm not pretty sure if I have subscribers in my blog, I'd still post events in my life worth sharing. So here it goes..
So this one is specifically dedicated to my first few days in Dubai. I met my friends way back during the times when i volunteered for Philippine National Red Cross Bataan Chapter.
